Notes: This simple cake is just a nice orange-scented cornmeal cake, topped with pears and walnuts. I used a very coarse grind of cornmeal, which may not have been the best choice. Its chewy texture was not liked by all. But the heavenly scent of the oven roasted pears was divine.
